Motoring east along the (TCH) Trans Canada Highway #1 - take Route 340, 11 kilometres into Lewisporte where 340 continues turning right on towards Twillingate Islands - approximately 1 hour drive. Route 340 (to Lewisporte) is approximately 20 minutes west of Gander on T.C. 1.
Scenic route - travelling west from St. John's, take Route 330 from Gander ( approx. 25 minutes ) to Route 331 - around the shoreline of Gander Bay & Gander Bay North ( heavy road construction
for15 kms ) to Route 340
( approx. 30 minutes ) turning right on towards Twillingate Islands.
