Visit Long Point Light House - at the end of Route 340 and see the Double Residence for lighthouse keepers of the past AND see the ocean beauty from the Viewing Platform developed with Federal and Provincial help in 2002. We feel it's the Best place to view the ocean in all of Newfoundland and Labrador (and indeed all the world) SIMPLY BREATHTAKING.
This summer, Twillingate Islands Tourism Assoc. (TITA) has 1 student under the C. S. J. Canada Summer Jobs programme, providing assistance to visitors at the Long Point Light Station Viewing Platform and hiking trails.
