Celebration of the 130th Anniversary of the Long Point Lighthouse, (Est. 1876) took place in September, 2007.
Artist Randy Hann created a painting of the Long Point Lighthouse with the likeness of the last Resident Lighthouse Keeper looking on.
Limited addition paintings are available -
all proceeds going to the restoration and maintenance of the Lighthouse
Randy spoke to the Light Keeper at the viewing platform near the Light House
asking permission to include him in the painting

The Fish, Fun and Folk Festival ( July 25 - 31, 2011)
- one of the largest and longest running folk festivals in the Province of Newfoundland.
The Festival is proud of its now world-wide recognition and success as a family-oriented

The Fish Fun & Folk Festival takes place annually during the last full week in
July at Twillingate, Newfoundland, Canada
Some events taking place during the week;
- Wonderful Newfoundland Entertainment,
- Meals available at various centres,
- Craft Fare - with many home made items available,
- Fireworks Display Friday evening
A full book of scheduled events will be available to everyone upon arrival.
